Madison’s Obituary Eliot- Madison ‘Maddy’ Anne Graham, 18, of Eliot, passed suddenly on February 13, 2019. She was born March 26, 2000 in Dover, NH to Joseph Graham and Kristyn (Clay) Chaplin. Maddy was raised in South Berwick and Eliot and attended both York and Marshwood High School, graduating in 2018 from Arthur R Gould School.

She continued her education by completing some college courses with hopes of helping those struggling in the future. Although Maddy lost her lifetime battle with addiction, she never let it define her. She was adored by all who knew her, and was a beautiful soul with a loving heart and a passion for always helping the underdog.

With her great sense of humor, she brought life and laughter to every room she entered. Maddyloved young children, was adored by her younger cousins, was a talented artist, writer and singer, who cherished her relationships with her family and with God. She is survived by her parents Joseph Graham and his fiancé Michelle Succo of Kittery and her mother Kristyn (Clay) Chaplin of Dover, brother Chance Daigle of Dover and sister Makenzy Orion of Gifford, grandparents Terri and Larry Burdick of Eliot, David Graham of Eliot, Pati Clay of Dover, great grandparents, Marie Merrow of Eliot, Joanne Gaffey, and Larry Burdick of Massachusetts, aunts and uncles Chelsey Graham, Trista Reilly, Ella Burdick, Jonathan Burdick, Patrick and Michelle Clay, cousins Aliah and Olivia Clay as well as many more cousins, family, and friends.

Maddy was predeceased by grandfather Michael Clay of Dover. Friends are invited to visit with Maddy’s family on Tuesday,February 19, 2019 from 5-8pm at the JS Pelkey Funeral Home,125 Old Post Road Kittery, Maine 03904, and a funeral celebrating her life, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11am atthe First Congregational Church of Eliot UCC, 1361 State Road, Eliot, Maine with the Rev. Dr. Beth Hoffman.
