Madonna Gervaise Mullins (nee Lawrence) Madonna Gervaise Mullins passed away January 19, 2019 at Heritage Health in Dwight, IL At the age of 88. She was born to Paul and Ethel Lawrence on December 20, 1930 and was raised in Mazon, IL. She married Hilliary “Moon” Mullins in 1951 and they resided in Kinsman, IL for many years until moving to Coal City, IL in 1985.

Madonna loved crocheting, knitting and sewing and created many beautiful tablecloths, blankets and afghans. She loved to read and spend time with her family. Madonna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Moon in 2010; and her three sisters, June, Marge, and Delores.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Jim) Stevens; two grandchildren, Kristen Liebermann and Nick (Tanya) Stevens all who live in Morris, IL. She is also survived by three great grandchildren whom she adored, Angelise Stevens, Emmitt Liebermann, and Vanna Liebermann. Also surviving are her sister Jean Schriner of Kankakee, and nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded. She will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery beside her husband Moon. Services will be private.
