Mary Mae Harmon, 95, of Carthage, passed away on January 18, 2019 at Peak Re – Pinelake in Carthage. A native of Watauga County, NC she was a daughter of the late Dan and Maggie Ward. She was a lifetime homemaker raising eight children.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Spivey of Carthage, NC, Phyllis Harmon of Gibsonville, NC; sons, William Harmon of Icard, NC, Danny Harmon of Erect, NC, Johnny Harmon of Carthage, NC, Randy Harmon of Robbins, NC; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Filmore Harmon, daughter, Maggie Cockman, son, Steve Harmon; grandson Joey Spivey. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Kennedy Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at PinesFunerals.com.
