Obituary for Magdalene Wilson Apple Magdalene Wilson Apple, 76, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Rockingham County Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gaylord Dix officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her brother, Joseph and Betty Wilson, 1115 Cherry Grove Road, Reidsville. Magdalene was born in Rockingham County to the late Andrew and Lucille Walker Wilson and was a retiree of Glen Raven Mills with 25 years of service.

She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and served as a former choir director. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Starr McKinney. Survivors include her sons, Tommie Apple of Caswell County and Donald Apple and wife, Christine of Elon; daughters, Patti Jo Boone of Efland and Debra Rainey of Eden; grandchildren, Brian Rainey, Joshua Rainey, Jarek Boone, Justin Boone, Philip Apple and Sarah Apple; great grandchildren, Payton, Gracelee, Logan, Jacob and Brantley; brothers, Joseph Wilson and wife, Betty and Doug Wilson both of Reidsville.
