Obituary for Malcolm “Randy” Hamlett Malcolm “Randy” Hamlett Jr, 74, 2700 NC Hwy. 119 North, Leasburg, NC with home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 after several years of declining health. Randy was born in Caswell County a son of the late Malcolm Hamlett, Sr. and Edna Ford Hamlett.

He had lived in Caswell County his entire life where he was a member of Griers Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of the former Prospect Hill High School. Randy had retired from General Electric in Mebane, NC after 25 years of service.

One of his joys in life was his six special children, who he helped raise, Cody, Kyle, Tyler, Anna, Walker and C.J. during his declining his years of declining health and his special friend, Brian Reagan who helped him in so many ways. Randy is survived by his wife and faithful caretaker, Curtis Ann Hamlett, his daughter, Tina and husband Justin, two grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Barts all of Burlington, NC, one sister, Brenda Vernon of Yanceyville, NC and one brother Steve Hamlett of Leasburg, NC. He was predeceased by his parents, Malcomb Hamlett, Sr. and Edna Ford Hamlett, two brothers, Wayne and Larry Lee Hamlett.

Visitation for Randy will be anytime on Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18, 2018 at the residence of his daughter, Tina and Justin Barts, 1275 Baynes Road, Burlington, NC 27217. A private memorial service will conducted at a later date. In lieu of Flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Griers Presbyterian Church.
