Margaret’s Obituary Margaret Ann Byler, age 69, Carl Junction, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Freeman West after a sudden illness. Margaret was born March 15, 1949 in Monett, Missouri, daughter of the late Joseph Droska and Mary L. Meaher Droska of Carl Junction. She graduated from McCauley High School, and married Larry D. Byler on August 30, 1969 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sarcoxie.

She worked for nearly 30 years in child care with the Lafayette House of Joplin as a coordinator. She was a devoted wife, mother, and loved taking care of children. She was always helping others, and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In addition to her father, Margaret was preceded in death by a brother, James Michael Droska. Survivors include her husband, Larry Byler; son, Christopher Scott Byler and wife Shani of Carl Junction; mother, Mary Droska of Carl Junction; sister, Mary Ward and husband Dale of Joplin; brother, John Droska and wife Regina of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Gretchen DeMasters and husband Danny, Brian Ward and wife Heather, Dan Droska and wife Cara, Julie Darmody and husband Joe; and Jacob Droska; several great-nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev.

Jeff D. Martin officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service at the funeral home. Inurnment of her ashes will follow in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Sarcoxie, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
