David’s Obituary David V. Furry, age 47, Joplin, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from injuries he sustained in a bicycling accident on Route 66, near Galena. David was born March 9, 1971 in Joplin to the late Bobby G. Pequignot and Anne Sue Buckner Pequignot and was a lifetime resident. A welder by trade, David worked in construction for most of his adult life.

He enjoyed motorcycles, bike riding and tinkering with cars. He was a simple man with many friends. David will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Joshlyn Furry, Joplin; siblings, Sheila Johnson, Sedalia, Molly Johnson and husband, Mike, Neosho, Frankie Furry and wife, Diane, Shelton, Washington, Walter Furry, Joplin; step siblings, Tonya Brookover, Louis Pequignot, Gene Pequignot, Larry Pequignot, Patrick Pequignot; and many other extended family member and friends. Services are planned for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Keith Brumfield will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the services at the mortuary.
