Obituary for Margaret B Brandine (Fitzpatrick) Margaret B. Brandine (nee: Fitzpatrick), 87 of Mays Landing, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Born in Glasgow Scotland in 1930, her family emigrated to America in 1933 to Brooklyn, NY. She married Michael “Micky” Brandine on September 8, 1951 and was his beloved wife of 56 years until his passing in 2007.

They raised their family in Middletown, NJ before retiring and moving to Mays Landing in 1982, where they enjoyed fishing & boating on their boat the “Maggie B”. They enjoyed many grand adventures traveling internationally together to over 10 countries. Margaret is predeceased by her husband Michael “Mickey” Brandine, her son Michael Brandine, Jr. and her sister Mary Powell.

She is survived by her two sons, Charles Brandine and his wife Pat of Red Lodge, MT and Joseph Brandine of Mays Landing, NJ. Daughter-In-Law Nancy Brandine, grandchildren Lonnie and Michael Brandine III of Union, NJ and three great-grand children Dion, Lela and Myah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 24th from 2-4pm at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ, where a service will be held at 4pm.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory, would be appreciated.
