Obituary for Margaret Bryant Reid Mrs. Margaret Bryant Reid, 89, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Mrs. Reid was born May 24, 1928 in Cabarrus County.

She was a daughter of the late Allen Cleveland Bryant and Lillie Ida Chandler Bryant. She was a member of Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church for many years until she became homebound. She retired from the Washcloth Department of Cannon Mills where she was an overedger.

After her retirement, she worked for Sears in Concord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Billy Ray Reid and Oscar Lee Overcash; sister, Willie Mae Brown; and brother, Allen Lloyd Bryant. Mrs. Reid is survived by two Daughters, Diane Troutman of Kannapolis and Judy Pless and husband Steve of Rockwell; sister, Waulena Major of Kannapolis; brother, Winfred Bryant of Kannapolis; grandson, Robert Troutman and wife Deanna; and great grandson, Easton Troutman.
