Margaret’s Obituary Margaret “Frankie” James, 78, of Concord, passed away December 25, 2018 at Atrium North East Medical Center. She was born April 19, 1940 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late David McKinnish and Helen Crisp McKinnish. Frankie loved children and took care of many through the years.

She loved all of her family and will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Mike Reep and Scott Miles; daughter, Tammy Auten and husband Jason; brother, Jim McKinnish; sisters, Dot Huskey and Shirley Patterson; grandchildren, Ashley O’Keefe, Joey Reep, Jon Reep, Candace Reep, Clarissa Reep, Nate Reep, Brandie Miles, Jessi Miles, and Jaden and Dylan Auten; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clois “Whit” James; sister, Joyce Horne; and brother, Charles “Buck” McKinnish.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Allen Montgomery will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd. , Gastonia. The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
