Margaret Louise Tate, 91, of Searcy, died Saturday July 7, 2018 at Oakdale Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1927 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Dillard and Eula Hill Rigsby. She was a factory worker and mother of three, who had a love for music, sewing, and crocheting, as well as her seven grandkids, seven great grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Tate; four brothers, Earnest, Lloyd, Bethal, and Herman Rigsby; three sisters, Mary Henson, Ethel May Richmond, and Dorothy Self; two grandkids, Terry Allan Tate and Elizabeth Ann Tate. She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Carmichael (James); two sons, Terry Tate (Tatianna) and Rickey Tate (Sue); five grandkids; seven great grandkids; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Searcy Church of The Nazarene where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
