Obituary for Margaret W. Stuckey (Wenrich) Margaret W. Stuckey, 90, of New Cumberland, passed away Sunday April 8, 2018, at the Thornwald Home, Carlisle, PA. Born August 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Wilkes and Bertha (Miller) Wenrich. Margaret opened the Margaret Stuckey School of Dance in 1952.

She operated the dance school for nearly 60 years until her retirement in 2011. She was a member of The Dance Educators of America. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Cumberland.

After high school Margaret met and married the love of her life, Charles. They were married for 46 years until his passing in 1993. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her son Steven Stuckey, a brother George Wenrich, and sister Mary Richards.

Surviving is her son Charles Stuckey and wife Linda, of New Cumberland, grandson Todd Stuckey of Ellicott City, MD, and granddaughter Devon Collier and husband Marc, of Mechanicsburg. Great grandchildren William and Elizabeth Stuckey, and Calvin and Kacie Collier. Margaret is also survived by a niece and three nephews.

A funeral service will be at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Chapel of Peace, on the grounds of Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill. A visitation will be held at the Chapel of Peace on Friday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Margaret’s honors to Vision Conservation Institute, 218 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
