Margarita Figuero-Rodriquez was born on February 29, 1920 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Maximiliano and Carmen Figueroa. In 2010 she relocated to the United States where she lived in Lakeland, Florida with her daughter Mildred. On November 7, 2018, Margarita went home to be with the Lord, she was 98 years old.

Margarita is preceded in her homegoing by her parents and her son. She is succeeded by her daughter Mildred of Lakeland, Florida. In addition to her daughter she leaves behind her 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Margarita loved to cook and bake. She is best remembered as a good neighbor who helped any and everyone.
