Obituary for Maxine Mayer Maxine Alice Mayer Stearns Lakeland – Our loving mother who was called home today because God needed another angel. She will be deeply missed and will live in our hearts forever. Maxine Alice Mayer/Stearns was born June 30th 1925, and she passed on October 26th 2018.

She is preceded in death by her son, Wilford Hale. She is survived by her children Leonard Hale, Allen Parker, Iris Dorman, Stanley Stearns, and Brenda Good. She was also a loving grandmother of many, she had fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Also her surviving husband Jerry Stearns. She was a friend to all, rest in peace mom until we meet again on that joyous day. We all love you.
