Obituary for Margie Jo Glaze Margie Jo Glaze, age 89, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2018. She was born on January 19, 1929, in Merry Green, Arkansas to John and Maunette (Beaver) Scallion. She worked as a lead inspector for Anaconda Electronics for over 20 years.

She and her husband, Joe Glaze, were presidents of their local square dance club as well as the Northern California Square Dance Association. Margie was also the co-owner of the Square Dance Shop in Marysville. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church for 17 years and loved to hear Pastor Jim preach and hear his big fishing stories.

She was involved with the Crafts, and the Clothes Closet every Friday. Margie is survived by her daughters: Diane Pate of Lancaster, CA, Patricia Sanchez of Marysville, Tammy Stegman of Lancaster, CA, and Juanette Lecce of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren: Jimmie, Cristina, Michelle, Jason, Nicholas, Tyler, Matthew, Austin, Sebastian, and Madison; great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Claire, Grace, Amelia, Cade, Wyatt, Ryleigh, Kayla, Lucas, and Hailey; one sister, Betty Butler; one brother, Bobby Joe Scallion; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe D. Glaze; son, Richard McClure; brother, John Scallion; and sister, Kathryn Montgomery.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she can now rest in peace with her “Sailor Boy”. Friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 4 – 7 p.m., at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Ullrey with committal to follow at Sutter Cemetery.
