OBITUARY Mrs. Marguerite Alma (Summers) McClure March 22, 1921 – January 27, 2019 Marguerite Alma (Summer) McClure was born at home in Ft. Worth, Texas, to John and Alma Sue Summers on March 22, 1921. She was received by Jesus on Sunday January 27, 2019, just short of her 98th birthday.

Margie, as she was affectionally called, graduated from SMU. She married her beloved Mac McClure on June 16, 1950. After their retirement, Mac and Margie had a life full of music, making arrangements for a Senior Citizens Band which played everywhere.

They both loved their church and sang in the choir and played keyboard and guitar for services. Margie took up composing Christmas Carols for Christmas cards until her vision failed her in later years. Margie is predeceased by her parents, John and Alma Sue Summers, and her lifelong helpmate, Mac.

She is survived by her three children and spouses: Dan and Gloria McClure, Sue and Ron Hibler and Gay McClure. She is also survived by six grandkids and spouses: Derek and Beth McClure; Gina Robbins; Johnnie and Lori Garza; Crystal and Max Lewis; David and Susan May; Glen May. She is also survived by 18 great-grandkids and 4 great-great grandkids.

All were dearly loved by their Grandma Margie. Graveside services will be on Friday February 1, 2019 @ 2:00 pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park Dallas, Texas officiated by Ray Truedale. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
