Obituary for Maria Bladek Maria Bladek (nee Kulig), 95, of Garfield, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018. Maria was born in Stany, Poland and moved to the United States in 1965, settling in Garfield in 1972. She was the beloved wife of the late Walenty Bladek, devoted mother of Anna Bertha Drazek and her husband Edward, of Garfield, loving grandmother of Michael E. Drazek, and his wife Beate, and Robert P. Drazek, and his wife Margaret, caring great-grandmother of Liam T. and Gabriel M. Drazek and dear sister of Filomena Marut and the late Bertha Byra, Genevi Drake, John, Julius, Ludwig, Wladystaw and Frances Kulig.
