Obituary for Maria C. Rossi (Strano) Print Rossi, Maria C. (Strano) Gates: unexpectedly on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at age 80. Predeceased by her husband, Alessandro Rossi; sister, Giovanna (Vittorio) DiFrancesco; brother-in-law, Joseph Sanfilippo. She is survived by her children, Matilda Rossi, Tony (Tabatha) Rossi; grandchildren, Jeremy Rossi, Alex and Ayla Rossi; sister, Vivian Sanfilippo; brother, Vittorio (Nunzia) Strano of Italy; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends here and in Italy.

Maria was a retiree of Rochester Products and a member of the Italian American Community Center. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her “Panera” group. Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd.

, Gates. On Thursday, February 7, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Jude’s Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
