Maria Jimenez Marte, 80 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with her family by her side. Maria was born and raised in La Vega, Dominican Republic and came to Perth Amboy many years ago. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Felipe Marte; loving daughter of Ventura & Maria Pilate (nee Rosario) Jimenez. She is survived by her beloved daughters Barbara and her husband Jose Minaya and Alba Rosa and her husband Ygnacio Ortega Marte; adored grandmother of 5 and cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. We begin to leave on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 10 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment to follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Saturday from 2 ~ 4 & 6 ~ 8 pm.
