Maria’s Obituary Maria Josephine Wilson, age 93, from Arcadia, FL passed away at 3:17 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. Maria was born on October 30, 1925 in Tokyo, Japan to Hachiro Goto and Kicitiyo (Watanabe) Goto. She was married to Clayton C. Bonville II and had two children Clayton C. Bonville III and Rena (Bonville) Newell.

They moved back to the United Sates, where she attended classes at the University of Miami. She became a lab technician at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where she worked and retired from. She liked spending time outdoors, viewing various plants and animals, painting, shooting, sailing, reading, collecting, and Native American culture.

Following her son’s death in 2011, Maria moved to Arcadia in order to be closer to family. Maria leaves behind her daughter: Rena Newell of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Clayton E. Bonville of Arcadia, Christopher ( Scott) Bonville of Arcadia, Cory Michael “ Mike” Bonville of Arcadia, Julia Newell Stang, and Thomas Newell both of Port Washington, WI and James Newell of Plymouth, WI. Great grandchildren: Lauren Bonville , Bradley Bonville both of Arcadia, Bethany Bonville of Bradenton, Madison Bonville of Port Charlotte, FL Kayeigh, Ruby and Thomas Newell and Abigail Newell all of Port Washington, WI.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Clayton C. Bonville II; son: Clayton C. Bonville III; parents: Hachiro Goto and Kicitiyo (Watanabe) Goto. A visitation of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave. , Arcadia Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM.
