Hardee ~ Stephen’s Obituary Stephen J George III, Age-73; passed away on Saturday January 12, 2019 at his residence in Wauchula, FL. Stephen was born on March 27, 1945 in East Orange, New Jersey. He has been a resident of Wauchula for the last 20 years coming from Boynton Beach, FL.

Stephen’s passion in life was bass fishing. He enjoyed volunteering as a boat Captain for disabled veterans and youth bass tournaments. He was also an active member of Real Life Community Church and was part of the crew of “The Story of Jesus” here in Hardee County for the last 15 years.

He was a master mechanic and woodcrafter and loved the outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Judith Greenwell George, two sons; Joshua R.L. George of Delray Beach, FL and Matthew J.G. George and his fiancé Cheyanne Gough of Wauchula, FL.

He is survived by a brother, Raymond L (Cathy) George of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Alivia, Nehemiah and Kazen George all of Wauchula, FL. A memorial service was held on Tuesday January 15th at 11:00 am at the Real Life Community Church in Wauchula.
