Sue’s Obituary Sue C. Varnell Daniel, 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. She was born on September 24, 1929 in Chattanooga, TN. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 65 years, William “Dan” Daniel; son: David (Marcia) Brewer of Chattanooga, TN; daughter: Susan (Wilbur) Robertson of Zolfo Springs, FL; brother: Wally Varnell of Cleveland, TN; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren of Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents: Rilla Wotring and Ralph Varnell; brother: Lee Vernell; and son: Michael Daniel. Sue was born and raised in Chattanooga TN. She worked for the United Hosiery Mill, Buster Brown, and ran the Snack Bar in the Neighborhood Drug store on East Brainerd Road.

Sue along with her husband and children, moved to Cocoa, FL in Brevard County, FL where she worked for the school board for more than 30 years. For the last 20 years she and her husband Dan lived near their daughter in Zolfo Springs. Service will be Monday, February 25, 2019 and family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the chapel at Ponger-Kays-Grady funeral homes.
