Ronnie C. Albritton September 14, 1945 – February 12, 2019 Ronnie C. “Punk” Albritton, 73, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 14, 1945 in Tampa to Mike and Kate Raulerson Albritton. Mr. Albritton was a life long resident of Hardee County and was employed for the mines, retiring from U.S. Steel.

He was a member of Fort Green Baptist Church and was considered the unofficial “Mayor” of Fort Green by family and friends. Surviving family members include his wife of 24 years, Margie Abbott Albritton; sons Larry Albritton, John Burdeshaw, and Randy Albritton; Daughters Stephanie Reid and Tisha Bostick all of Hardee County; brother Gene Albritton of Bradenton; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Six.

Mr. Albritton was preceded in death by parents Mike and Kate Albritton and Gates and Lucy Coker; brothers B.W., Gary, Tommy, and Allison Albritton and Harold Coker; son Rufus Sasser; grandsons Christopher Reid and Christian Martinez. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed riding around the community in his John Deere Gator visiting with neighbors. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Fort Green Baptist Church with Dustyn Waters and Truitt Waters officiating.

Visitation will begin at 2:00pm with services to follow at 3:00pm. Burial will be at Fort Green Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. online condolences can be made at www.
