Roger Lee Wood of Arcadia, Florida September 21, 1957 – January 20, 2019 Roger Lee Wood went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born September 21, 1957 at Bolling Air Force Base in the District of Columbia. He was the son of John Robert Wood and Joan Louise Bellenoit.

Roger spent most of his life in Arcadia and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Roger liked to spend time reading his Bible and playing games on his tablet, and going fishing with his cousins. He liked cooking, spending time with friends and family, and was of the Baptist faith, attending the Temple Baptist Church of Arcadia.

Roger is survived by his wife Beverly Jean of Arcadia, and two daughters: Alicia (Jason) Twohig of Arcadia, Jessica Poffenbarger of Port Charlotte, four grandchildren, and several cousins. Online condolences can be made at www. pongerkaysgrady.com.
