Helen’s Obituary Helen Vasquez Age, 95 passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday March 23, 2019 at her residence in Wauchula. Helen was born on August 18, 1923 in Sanderson, Texas. She has lived in Wauchula for the last thirty years and was a homemaker.

Helen enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, canning and most of all spending time with her very large and loving family She is survived by twelve children, Raymond (Rose) Zamora of Zolfo Springs, FL; Roy Vasquez Jr. of Bradenton, FL; Roger Vasquez of Fort Myers, FL; Carrie Sepeda of Fort Pierce, FL; Louise Laureles of Memphis, TN; Maria Zamora of Wauchula, FL; Dolores Valle of San Diego, CA; Esperanza (Andy) Ray of Zolfo Springs, FL; Sally Ramos of San Antonio, TX; Nancy (Ismael) Madrigal of Zolfo Springs, FL; Beatrice Vasquez of Homestead, FL and Barbara Vasquez of Calhoon, GA. One brother, Senon (Bo) Alvarado of Memphis, TN; three sisters Christine Servantes of Somerville, TN; Elioba Amoya of Palmetto, FL and Micky Clouse of Hubbard Lake, MI. She also survived by 52 grandchildren, 174 great-grandchildren; 88 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Vasquez and six children, David Moreno; Ralph Zamora; Robert; Mary Helen and Joseph Vasquez and Ennedin Torres. A viewing will be held on Tuesday March 26th from 6-8 pm (with a rosary starting at 6pm) at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 205 North Wauchula Avenue Wauchula, FL. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 27th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church 408 Heard Bridge Rd.

Wauchula, FL. Interment private.
