Lois’ Obituary Lois Mae Stanford, 99 of Wauchula, FL departed her earthly home after a lengthy illness into the loving arms of Jesus on March 1, 2019. She was born December 15, 1919 in Hastings, FL to the late A.E. Johnson and Sealey Dease Johnson. Her family moved to Hardee County when she was a teenager.

Lois was the oldest member of her church, Florida’s First Assembly of God. She started attending the church at the age of 15. From the time she accepted Jesus as her loving Lord until her death, she shared and prayed for others.

Lois had a love for sewing and cooking and was always using her skills to reach out to others in need. She had a deep love for her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lois was preceded in death by Perry Stanford, her beloved husband of 65 years, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one son, Billy Stanford (Gail) of Bradenton, FL and two daughters, Judy Dyal (Donnie) of Sebring, FL and Charlotte Stanford of Wauchula, FL. She is also survived by two grandsons, Bill Stanford (Tanya) and Jason Stanford (Tracie); two great grandchildren, Zoey Stanford and Alex Phillips. She is also survived by her nieces, Betty Copeland, Marie Parsons, Ann Gilliard, Debbie Sharp and nephews Gene and Joseph Johnson.

A Visitation will be held at Florida’s First Assembly of God in Wauchula, FL on Wednesday March 6, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM and the funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM. Reverends Jeff Fowler and Chris Rutledge will Officiate. Interment will follow at Wauchula Cemetery.
