Betty’s Obituary Betty J. Forrester, age 73, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Lakeland, FL. She was born on October 2, 1945 in Marble Hill, GA to the late Robert and Mattie Fields Carney. Betty was of the Baptist faith and a member of Charlie Creek Faith Baptist Church.

Betty was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and will be sorely missed by all. She lived for her family, she enjoyed having everyone over for dinners and spending time with everyone. She is survived by her five children; William B. Forrester of Bowling Green, FL, Robert “Shane” (Leslie) Forrester of Wauchula, FL, Donna (Dale) Porter, and Pam (Mike) Davis all of Wauchula, Holly (Billy) Bryant of Zolfo Springs, FL.

; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Forrester, brother Leon Carney, sisters Vera Carney, Thelma Jones and her parents. A visitation of family and friends will be Friday, February 8, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 205 N. 9th Ave.

, Wauchula. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00am at Charlie Creek Faith Baptist Church, 1000 Mocking Bird Rd. , Wauchula with Brother Mike Davis officiating.
