Hardee~George’s Obituary George Derr 73, of Zolfo Springs, FL passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2019. He was born March 27, 1945 in Shawnee, Ohio to Pearl Derr and Mary Purdum Derr. George was married to the love of his life, Bonnie for 54 years.

He loved horses, and retired after 30 years as a mounted police officer. George also worked for the railroad from 1965 through 1981. He was the nicest man and would help anyone in need, and loved his family very much.

George is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; sons, George Robert Derr II (Sandra), and William Todd Derr (Tina) and daughter Tina Marie Holmes and brother David Joseph Derr, and was loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his son, Danny Bryan Derr, grandson George Robert Derr III and his brothers, Jim, Tom, and Danny Derr. Services will be held on Friday January 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Brookside Bluffs Clubhouse at 2:00 PM.

Another service will be held on January 26, 2019 at Brenemen Memorial Missionary Church in Goshen, IN. online condolences may be made at www.
