DeSoto ~ Mary’s Obituary Mary Louise Jernigan Clark, 91, of Arcadia, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was born on April 20, 1927 in Ft. Ogden, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas William and Maggie Jernigan and her husband, Donald Alvin Clark. She is survived by her seven children, Joseph William (Jane) Clark, Donna Lou (Johnny) Jones, Jane Laudano, Thomas Dale (Trina) Clark, Alan Neal (Angie) Clark, Nola Lea (Buddy) Beckham, and Peggy Sue (Johnny) Lindsey, along with 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter, and her sister, Margaret Ford. She will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and friends and her two faithful caregivers, Dale Brown and Patti Daughtrey.

There will be a Memorial Service for her at Fort Ogden United Methodist Church on January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ft Ogden United Methodist Church (6923 SW River Street, Arcadia, Florida 34269), Tidewell Hospice (Tidewell Hospice Philanthropy Department 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238), or Operation Second Chance (www.
