Obituary for Marian June Fleming Marian June Fleming, 96, of Harbor Beach, MI went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2018. Marian was born to Harold and Blanche Edson, in Detroit, MI. She married Jack Fleming in 1942.

Over the years, Jack and Marian lived together in several locations including Grosse Pointe, MI; Harbor Beach, MI; Beaver Creek, CO and Newport Beach, CA. She leaves as her legacy her three children: John Fleming (Carol), Lance Fleming (Mary) and Mary Ann Kerr (David). She also leaves to cherish her memory ten grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Jack Fleming, brother Edward Edson and sister Jean Boland. Marian dedicated her life to the raising of her three children. Her family fondly remembers Nana as a loving and supportive mother and grandmother.

She lived her life as an example of putting God and family first. She was also an accomplished accountant/bookkeeper and an excellent chef. She set the bar on how to host family and friends gatherings.

She was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Harrison Township, MI. While Marian was able to travel the world with her late husband Jack, her favorite place to be was the family summer home in Harbor Beach, Mi. A memorial service to celebrate and honor her life will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Harbor Beach, MI September 22, 2018 at 11:00am.
