Marian J. (Salvagno) Miller, 86 of Lakeland, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Marian was born August 5, 1932 in Syracuse, New York, daughter of the late Frederick and Caroline (DeMarchi) Salvagno. She was a lifelong area resident and parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church.

She was employed by ARISE Inc. for thirty years. She enjoyed reading and she loved to garden. Marian was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Ann and brother, Lud Salvagno.

Marian is survived by her five children, Philip (Lori) Miller, of Lockport, LeeAnn (Jeffrey) Torres, of Raleigh, NC, Michael (Barbara) Miller, of Lakeland, Eric Miller, of Raleigh, NC, and Bradford Miller, of Lakeland; four grandchildren, Matthew and Bailee Torres of Raleigh, NC, Michael Miller, of Denver, and Joshua Miller, of Lakeland. Also surviving are her two sisters, Yolanda Herbert and Carol Reppi, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Friday at Our Lady of Peace Church, Lakeland.

The Rite of Committal will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at Our Lady of Peace Church, 203 Halcomb St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to ARISE, Inc, 635 James St, Syracuse, NY 13203.
