Born on October 31, 1927 in Syracuse, Rita was a life-long Syracuse resident until moving to AZ in 2015. As a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Rita was held in high regard by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, parents Anna and Aldona Brisson, brother Aime, and sisters Mary Rose Ditch and Arlene Ginnan. Survived by her four children, Cathleen of Camp Verde, AZ, Dr. Mark (Karen) of Rochester, Joanne (Buck) Curry of Sedona, AZ and Sheri Brown of Cottonwood, AZ; two grand-daughters Heather Selman and Ciara Reifenstein, two great grand-daughters Dallis and Harper Selman, two brothers Corad (Sally) and Albert, and one sister Rony Stafford. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.

Contributions in Rita’s memory can be made to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul.
