Enia “Annie” (Nicolini) Panelati, 95, formerly of Fairmount, passed away Sunday March 24th at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Solvay to the late Jacob and Susan (Colotti) Nicolini in 1923 and was a graduate of Solvay High School. She worked all her life as a seamstress, most notably at Sauda’s and Patrick’s.

She loved to dance and was the first member of Fritz’s Polka Band. Annie was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Auxiliary and the Stanley B. Pennock VFW Post Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan “Nate” in 1995, her brothers, Adolpho and Renard and infant sister, Viola.

Annie is survived by her daughter; Christine (Arne) Sandness, sister-in-law; Delores Nicolini and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were privately held at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. Private entombment was in St. Mary’s Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt.

In lieu of flowers and Mass cards, donations may be made in her memory to Clear Path For Veterans, Dogs To Vets Program, 1223 Salt Springs Rd, Chittenango, NY 13037 or Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, 6606 Kinne Rd, DeWitt, NY 13214 or any animal rescue group of your choice. Arne and I would love to thank all the wonderful people that have helped us over the last 13 ½ years, since mom’s car accident, especially St. Camillus C-Unit. Thank you for your love, calls, visits, feeding us and holding us when we cried.
