Marian M. Stolz (Reich), 69 of Mandan, ND passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 at 10:30 AM, at First Presbyterian Church, 214 E. Thayer Avenue, Bismarck, ND. No graveside services.

She was born on January 14, 1950 in Wishek, ND to Edwin and Elsie (Schwind) Reich. Marian graduated in 1968 from Lehr High School. From there she attended Joseph Beauty School and went to work at Ray’s Beauty Salon.

She married Keith R. Stolz on October 6, 1973 at Grace Lutheran Church, Lehr, ND. They had one son, Eric S. Stolz, and his dog, Benny. They resided in Mandan, ND for the last 46 years.

Marian owned Hair Professionals with Maggie Schlosser until 2011, then worked part-time for the new owners of Mane Expressions. Marian enjoyed shopping, camping, fishing, playing 9-card pinochle, crafting, collecting Disney memorabilia, traveling to warm places, word search puzzles, bright colors and shoes, shoes, shoes! Marian is survived by her husband, Keith; son, Eric, Hazen, ND; mother-in-law, Lucille Stolz; siblings, Edwina (Paul) Haegele, Napoleon, ND, Gary Reich, Bismarck, ND, Stacy (Ken) Putnick, Joplin, MO, and Greta (Fred) Jahraus, Olathe, KS; In-laws, Dean (Denise) Stolz, Mandan, ND, Tim (Corrine) Stolz, West Fargo, ND, Steve (Deana) Stolz, Dawson, ND, Sue (Steve) Knodel, Bismarck, ND, and John (Donna) Stolz, Firecrest, WA; many dear nieces and nephews; and many, many dear friends and clients.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law, Robert J. Stolz. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND (NDVCF.org) or the Central Dakota Human Society (cdhs.net) for her great love of dogs.
