Maricela Perez Diaz, age 66, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2019 here in Del Rio. She was born on June 29, 1952 in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico. Preceding her in death were her parents, Cecilia and Luis Diaz; sister, Irma Diaz; and brother, Jose Luis Diaz.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 50 years, Raul Perez Morales of Del Rio; children: Soraida P. Moreno and husband Francisco Moreno of Fort Worth, Tx, Ana Cecilia P. Reyes and husband Juan Reyes of Del Rio, Judith P. Alcaraz and husband Jose Alcaraz of Del Rio, Edith Perez of Del Rio, Raul Perez Jr. and wife Claudia Perez of Del Rio, and Maricela P. Arreola and husband Jesus Arreola of Del Rio; siblings: Enrique Diaz, Jorge Diaz, and Dora Diaz; Maricela is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Devotion. Private services will follow.
