Marie Barr Real December 14, 1929 – January 8, 2019 Marie Barr Real of Panama, Oklahoma, was born December 14, 1929 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to William and Molly (Poteet) Hale and passed away January 8, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 89 Marie is survived by her two daughters Phyllis Lang and husband Jim, Carol Koeppel and husband Steve, two sisters, Evelyn Minor and Imogene Harris, two brothers, Carl Hale and Cotton Hale and wife Snodine, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Troy Barr, her son Larry Barr, and Allen Real whom she married later in life. Marie was a homemaker of the Baptist faith who enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and canning, she loved entertaining her grandchildren and visiting with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, January 11th at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro. Viewing will take place 12pm-1:30pm before the funeral on Friday.
