Marilyn S Trent, September 05, 1955 — September 27, 2018

Obituary for Marilyn S Trent Marilyn Susan Trent passed into the arms of our Lord on September 27th at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by Cecil Elliot Trent who was stillborn in 1990. She is survived by her husband Terry Trent, her children Shane Ruple, Tara Trent and Terry “TJ” Trent II, and also by her brother Thomas Pitts, and sisters Diane Pitts Spence, and Cathy Pitts.

Marilyn enjoyed singing and entertaining, She performed early in her life at the Tommy Trent Fun Barn, then later on at Shakey’s Pizza in North Little Rock before joining a band named Western Caravan. Her enormous singing talent was easily and instantly recognized by those fortunate enough to have heard her incredible voice. Her passion for music was always her major hobby, rivaled only by her love for her family, and by her constantly professed love for and total devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She and her family have been members at Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in North Little Rock for over 27 years. Many have known her from grade school at St. Joseph’s and High School at Mount St, Mary’s and then into her working career at Sherwood Police Department, and then more recently at Pulaski County District Court. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758–1170.
