Obituary for Marjorie Ann Eckhardt Marjorie Ann Eckhardt, 86, of Anderson, passed away on April 10, 2018 at her residence. She was born on October 26, 1931 in Alexandria, and resided most of her life in Anderson. She retired as an Administrative Assistant for Madison Park Church of God after 30 years of service.

She was a member of Wesley Free Methodist Church. She loved leading Bible studies and prayer groups, and spending time with her family and friends. Marjorie is survived by her children, Elaine M. Eckhardt, Jenny A. (Paul) Erny, Brian K. (Lynda) Eckhardt, Mark F. Eckhardt, Todd L. (Mindy) Eckhardt; sister, Sue Harris; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith F. Eckhardt; mother, Virginia Ellen Wilhelm; father, Oscar Leroy Wilhelm; sisters, Barbara Prentice, and Judy Wilhelm. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be Friday, April 13, 2018, 10:00 am at Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3017 West 8th Street Anderson, with Pastor Jim Lyon officiating.

Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. www.
