Obituary for Marjorie Joan Pemberton Marjorie Joan Pemberton, 85, of New Castle, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Heritage House in New Castle. She was born July 31, 1933 in Wayne County, Indiana to the late Homer H. and Ruby (Schweikhardt) Huddleston. Marjorie was a graduate of New Lisbon High School and worked at New Castle Products/Modernfold for 46 years.

She was a member of Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years and loved the children of the church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by grandsons, Chase Pemberton of Indianapolis and Ethan Pemberton of Detroit; nieces, Davena Littrell of New Castle, Donna (Randy) Heath of Sun City Center, FL, and Doris (Mike) Williams of Cambridge City; and many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael D. and Melvin C. Pemberton; brothers, Harold and Fred Huddleston; and a sister, Margaret Woolard. The family would like to express their gratitude to Heritage House Staff for their compassionate care. Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Phil Morgan officiating.

Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Church of Christ, 240 E County Rd 200 N, New Castle, IN 47362.
