Obituary for Marjorie Leota McConkey Print Marjorie Leota McConkey Marjorie Leota McConkey, 92, of Elkview passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at Braxton Memorial Hospital. She was a retired nurses aid at Gassaway Hospital and attended Blue Creek Advent Christian Church.

Marjorie enjoyed sewing in her spare time. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Darrell McConkey; parents, Edward Lambey and Lula Jane Hughes Lambey; brothers, Nolan Lamby, Monroe Lamby, Vernon Lamby, Shelton Lamby, Ted Lamby and a infant brother; sisters, Maysel Smarr, Georgia Morris. Marjorie is survived by her sister, Thelma Helmick and husband, Burton of Buckhannon and several loving nieces and nephews.

Service will be 12:30pm Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Edens officiating. Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 12:30pm Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.
