Marjory A. Sims, 92, of Rockford, IL passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Wesley Willows, where she lived for the past three years. Marjory was born in Linton, IN on October 12, 1925, daughter of Floyd and Anne (Blumlein) Cornett. She married George B. Sims on April 1, 1944 in Linton, IN.

Predeceased by her parents; and husband, George. According to Marjory’s wishes, no services will be held. Cremation rites are being honored by Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Rockford, IL.

Final disposition in Marion is being honored by Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, where Marjory was organist for many years. Interment will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery, Marion, IL beside her husband. Share online condolences and memories at www.
