He was born May 23, 1956 at Hutchinson, Kansas the son of Mont and Barbara (Nichols) McAllister. He was a lifetime area resident.

He was a member of ABATE. Mark enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking BBQ, but most of all he loved his nieces and nephews. Survivors include: 3 sisters, Peggy (Caroline) Burton, Honolulu, Hawaii, Penny McAllister, Dodge City, Kansas, and Brenda Nietling and husband Duane, Dodge City, Kansas; 1 brother, Mont G. McAllister and wife Jennie, Pagosa Springs, Colorado; Ex-wife, Joyce Crosby, Dodge City; their children, Debbie Wellen and husband Clayton, Elkhart, Kansas, Wesley Keith, Sutherlin, Oregon, Kathy Perkins and husband Gary, Sutherlin, Oregon, Jeani Baker and husband Gary, Olathe, Kansas, and Jeffrey Keith, Dodge City, Kansas; 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and 24 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jordan Keith. Memorial service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Dr. Justin Hayes officiating. Inurnment will follow in Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City.

There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Mark McAllister Memorial Fund in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave. , Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
