Mrs. Marlene Maxwell, 67 of Adel passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Maxwell was born June 18, 1950 to the late Merrill James Johnson and Iris Trunabrg Johnson. She retired as a CNA and was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Maxwell of Adel; children, James Raymond Maxwell of Adel, and Sheri Lea Maxwell of Sparks; several grandchildren; one sister, Sharlene J. Tyson of Sparks. Mrs. Maxwell was preceded in death by her brother, Michael James Johnson, and one sister, Barbara Ann Bailey. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
