Marrene’s Obituary Marrene L. Dye was born on June 29, 1943 to Georgia and Phil Lumley. Marrene met the boy next door when their parents were neighbors at Fort Huachuca, AZ, and on March 31st 1966 they were married in Schofield Barracks, HI, just 13 days before Carl sailed to Vietnam. Over the past 53 years they managed to raise 3 wonderful children while moving through HI, CA, VA, NJ, PA,TX and finally arriving in Concho, AZ almost 18 years ago.

Throughout her life, Marrene was always the champion of the undergdog and needy. She volunteered in nursing homes, advocated for battered women and spent many years as a Hospice volunteer. A loyal friend and confidant to her friends, her children and husband were the center of her life.

After an extended period of pain and suffering, Marrene now rests in Peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in His Heavenly Kingdom on March 6, 2019. Marrene is survived by mother, Georgia Lumley; her husband, Carl Dye; her daughter, Tammy Ramirez; her son, William (Bill) Dye; her grandsons, Brenden Dye and Michael Ramirez. Marrene is preceded in death by her father, Phil Lumley; her brother, Phillip Lumley, and her son, John Dye.

Memorial Mass will be on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 9 a.m. at San Rafael Catholic Church in Concho, Arizona.
