Marsha Lynn Murr Lima , September 19, 1957 — April 25, 2018

Marsha Lynn Lima, our sweet mom, grandma, and friend passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She was born September 19, 1957, in Amarillo, Texas to Nolan T. Murr and Beverly Keys. Marsha was the light and heart of our family.

She lived her life with faith and courage in whatever circumstance she found herself. Her unconditional love for her family and friends has inspired us. Her faith in us gave us hope and lifted our spirits.

She had a special gift will all children. She graduated from Point Loma High School and studied early childhood development and worked in the profession for about 30 years. She touched the hearts of many kids as well as their families, and her sole purpose was to make their lives better.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she loved her children and grandson dearly. She also loved music, whether it was singing, playing the piano, or listening to music, it was one thing that always brought her joy and peace. Marsha’s love and influence for good was felt by many people, she bore her burdens well and was a true follower of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. She served a full-time mission in the Guatemala City, Guatemala, and served well in many callings throughout the church, with primary being her favorite. Marsha is survived by her 2 children: Brandon Lima (Jenny), and Matthew Lima; 1 Grandchild, Jesse Lima; and 2 siblings: Larry Keys, and Scarlett Keys (Greg).

She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Orem 4th ward chapel at 50 South 800 East, Orem, Utah. A Viewing for friends and family will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. Orem and Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. We appreciate the outpouring of love, support, and service that has been given to our family at this difficult time. In Lieu of flowers please contact the family to give donations for funeral costs.
