MarSue “Sue” Huston, age 79 of Darlington, WI passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at Meadows of Spring Green Assisted Living and Memory Care in Spring Green, WI. She was born October 30, 1938 in Jonesboro, AR the daughter of David and Autie (Turner) Feezor. Sue graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro and later from Arkansas State University with a Bachelors Degree in Education and a minor in Music.

After graduating from college and her marriage to Jim they moved to Corning, AR for a short period of time until moving to Darlington, WI in 1969. Sue and Jim raised their family in Darlington and she began working as a music teacher for Darlington Elementary School.
She later went to work for Shullsburg Elementary School in Shullsburg, WI where she taught 3rd grade until retiring in 2001. After retirement, Sue and Jim returned to Jonesboro, AR until 2009 when they returned to Darlington for more specific care from their family. Sue is survived by her husband Jim of Spring Green, WI; her children: James (Lonita) Huston of Kalispell MT, Sherri (Mike) Yager of Hollandale, WI, Kelly (Eric) Thomas of Cobb, WI, and Kyra (Tom) Bedward of Rogers, AR; her grandchildren: Chris (Desiree) Huston, Jeff Huston and Aaron Huston all of Kalispell, MT, LeighAnn Huston of Spokane, WA, Heather (Brandon) Larson of Darlington, Chadd (Whitney) Yager of Mineral Point, WI, Shane (Val) Thomas of Fitchburg, WI, Zachary Thomas of Sauk City, WI, Andrea (Brad) Waddell of Rogers, AR, and Thomas (Shana) Bedward of Monticello, AR; and14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother: Glenn Feezor. Sue was a member of Darlington United Methodist Church for 30 years. She was also a proud Girl Scout Leader in Darlington for 20 years, and was a member of the Flint & Cap Club and Bloody Lake Rendezvous.
Sue enjoyed traveling with Jim, camping, fishing, hiking, playing piano, quilting, and always enjoyed a good book. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and sending a new stocking full of goodies to them each year for Christmas. Sue supported her family in any event they were involved in and cherished the memories they created together.
She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Darlington United Methodist Church (546 Park Place, Darlington) with Rev. Angela Utter officiating.
Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
