MARTA TAYLOR May 16, 1944 – May 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Services for Martha Taylor, 75, of Ferriday, LA, who died May 20, 2019 in Natchez, MS, at Natchez Merit Medical Center, will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at New Morning Star BC, with Bishop Justin Conner officiating. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 4 – 7PM.

Mrs. Taylor was born May 16, 1944, in Ferriday, LA, the daughter of Albert Skipper and Arie Hall. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Taylor; one son Robert Taylor, Jr; three sisters, Laura Hall, Geneva Hall, Naomie Hall; three brothers, Andrew Hall, Willie Hall, Herman Crockett. Survivors include her seven sons, Dexter Taylor, Bobby Taylor (Rose), both of Ferriday, LA, Ronnie Taylor, Willie Taylor (Shirley), both of New Orleans, LA, Darron Taylor, San Antonio, TX, Eric Felton, Jackson, MS, David Taylor, Natchez, MS; eight daughters, Joyce Carter (Robert), Cynthia Platt (Ronald), both of Ferriday, LA, Josephine Washington, Minnie Turner, both of Clayton, LA, Margaret Washington, New Orleans, LA, Bobbie Felton, Memphis, TN, Wanda Jennings, Hampton, VA, Augree Taylor, California; two brothers, Henry Bottley, Pittsburg, CA, Johnnie Hall, Ferriday, LA; four sisters, Irma Williams, Natchez, MS, Carrie Scott, New Orleans, LA, Mildred Davis, Ferriday, LA, Edna Broussard, Eudora, AR; thirteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; a special grandson, Robert Taylor (Katie), Natchez, MS; a devoted sister, Mildred; a devoted daughter, Josephine; a devoted daughter-in-law, Rose B.; dedicated friends, Gene T.
