Obituary for Martha Jackson Lester Martha Lester, 86, of Beaumont was born June 8, 1932 in Beaumont and passed away Sept. 16, 2018 at Oakwood Manor in Vidor. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, Sept.

19, 2018 at 10 am in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel in Beaumont. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Martha lived most of her life in Beaumont and was a proud graduate of French High School class of 1950. In her earlier life, Martha worked as an X-Ray Technician at Baptist Hospital and as a draftswoman with Dollinger Steel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Lester, Jr

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Andrus and husband, Tommy; step-daughters, Annette Hodges and husband, Rusty, Michelle Henry and husband, Mark; 9 grandchildren, Angela, Mark T, Milissa, Matt, Mike, Jason, Jeremy, Angela, TJ, ; and 10 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Tyler, Jack, Dominic, Drake, Trent, Ella, Raelyn, Brently and beloved Boston Terrier, Dakota.
