Obituary for Martha Lovett (Oakley) Mrs. Martha L. Lovett, 90, of Murray, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Spring Creek Healthcare with her family by her side. Mrs. Lovett was born in Trigg County, KY on December 11, 1927 to the late James “Dee” Oakley and Lula Smith Oakley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Lovett; a sister, Dorothy Morris; two brothers, Clovis Oakley and Eura Oakley.

Those that are left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Carolyn Carroll (Franklin) of Lynn Grove, Cathy Stockdale (Johnnie) of Murray; a son, Thomas Lovett, Jr. (Lenora Ann) of Lynn Grove; five grandchildren, Renee Lax (Tim), Jeanne Carroll, Jason Carroll (Jennifer), Jamie Stockdale (Kristi), Johnna Worley (J.D.); five great grandchildren, Chantry, Cole, Callie Carroll, Jordan Lax, Kalyn and Kara Layne Stockdale, Rogeline Carroll and Edyson Carroll. A graveside service is set for 2 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Murray Memorial Gardens with Jim Stahler officiating. Pallbearers include Jason Carroll, Chantry Carroll, Cole Carroll, Jamie Stockdale, J.D. Worley, Tim Lax and Jordan Lax.
