Martha Mae Myers, age 92, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born May 14, 1926 in St. Francisville, Illinois, the daughter of Otis and Carie (Thorn) Vanderhoof. She married Onell R. Myers on February 14, 1944 and he preceded her in death on February 27, 1996.

Martha was a homemaker and worked at the Sign of the Kingdom in Sumner. She loved gardening, crocheting, quilting, and her cats. Onell and Martha had a cabin at the river, where they loved fishing and camping.

She attended the Olive Branch Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Onell; and one sister, Inez M. Pinnick. Survivors include two nieces, Betty James and Alice Bull.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sumner Cemetery.
